These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of our website and customers who book any trek, service, or activity with us.
Booking Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after successful receipt of the minimum advance payment (usually 30–50%).
- The balance payment must be completed before the trek start date.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message with all necessary details upon booking.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Our cancellation and refund policy is available here
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days via the original payment method.
- No refunds will be made for:
- Last-minute cancellations (0–7 days before trek)
- No-shows
- Leaving the trek midway
- Weather disruptions or natural calamities after trek has started
Health, Fitness & Personal Responsibility
By booking a trek, you confirm that:
- You are physically and mentally fit for high-altitude trekking.
- You have no medical condition that can affect your safety or the group.
- You will inform us of any health conditions or allergies during booking.
- You agree to follow the instructions of our trek leader and guides for your own safety.
Note: We may refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit for the trek.
Age & Eligibility
- Minimum age: 07 years (must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)
- Trekkers aged 60+ are welcome but may be asked to submit a fitness certificate from a doctor.
Packing & Equipment
- A detailed packing list will be shared post-booking.
- You are responsible for carrying required gear and clothing.
Risks & Liability
Trekking in the Himalayas involves inherent risks such as:
- Sudden weather changes
- Injuries or illness at high altitudes
- Landslides, snow, and road closures
- While we ensure safety with experienced staff and proper gear:
- BrahmatalTrek.com is not liable for accidents, injuries, loss of belongings, or delays caused by natural events or government actions.
Itinerary Flexibility
All treks are subject to weather and terrain conditions.
- We reserve the right to:
- Modify the itinerary
- Change or relocate campsites
- Cancel or postpone the trek for safety reasons
No refunds will be provided if changes are due to force majeure (natural or administrative).
ID Verification & Permits
- All trekkers must carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID).
- Permits will be arranged by us, but delays or restrictions imposed by local authorities are beyond our control.
Code of Conduct
All trekkers are expected to:
- Respect fellow trekkers, guides, and locals
- Follow leave-no-trace principles and protect the environment
- Avoid smoking, drinking, or substance abuse during the trek
- Refrain from any behavior that disrupts the group or safety
- Violation may lead to termination from the trek without refund.

Legal Jurisdiction
All disputes or claims will be under the jurisdiction of Chamoli District Court, Uttarakhand, India.
